Sensorimotor psychotherapy aims to relieve and resolve the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental and physical trauma-related health problems by focusing on the client’s body sensations and by working directly with the physiological elements.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), is a NICE approved, effective treatment for psychological difficulties arising from traumatic experiences, such as assault, road traffic accidents, war trauma, torture, natural or man-made disasters, sexual abuse and childhood neglect. EMDR can also be used for a wide number of psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and OCD( obsessive compulsive disorder).
Lifespan Integration is an effective and safe therapy to use when a person suffers from dissociated, complex and chronic trauma (often presenting with developmental trauma as well as adult trauma).
